With immediate effect, Samantha Wortelboer and Joachim van Collenburg have been appointed Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Enabling Services, respectively.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources across multiple industries including telecommunications, hospitality and online media, Samantha brings a wealth of expertise to her new role at nLighten. She will lead human resources across Europe, enhancing employee engagement and advancing the HR framework to support the company’s dynamic growth.

“Samantha will play a crucial role in taking our HR function to the next level,” said Harro Beusker, CEO and Founder of nLighten. “Her commitment to building a positive workplace culture will be invaluable as we scale.”

Joachim van Collenburg brings over two decades of experience in product management and strategic marketing to nLighten. Most recently, he served as head of the EMEA product management team at Equinix, driving adoption of their interconnection portfolio. Additionally, he’ll be responsible for managing nLighten’s pre-sales Solution Architects team, which spans seven countries.

“I’m excited to join nLighten,” Joachim stated. “Our Edge Data Center platform provides customers with the opportunity to leverage digital infrastructure close to their operations while helping them meet their sustainability goals.”

Founded in 2021 nLighten has grown rapidly to 34 data centers and has over 1,000 customers and approximately 200 team members. “As we expand our product portfolio and team across Europe, it is crucial to have seasoned leaders like Joachim and Samantha on board,” Beusker added. “Their expertise and alignment with our company values will drive our mission to provide sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions.
