Madrid, 24 June, 2025:<\/strong> nLighten, a European edge data center operator, establishes its presence in the Spanish market after a year of local operations. In a context where the demand for real-time data processing and low-latency digital services continues to grow, nLighten has a clear and disruptive proposal: to bring digital infrastructure closer to the end user through local, sustainable and high-performance data centers.<\/p>

With the acquisition of its first data center in Madrid a year ago, and plans to expand to other key cities, nLighten is breaking new ground with a model that redefines the role of data centers: closer, efficient and more environmentally friendly. Its supporting the demand to current digital infrastructure requirements to enable the rise of the IoT, real-time industrial applications, gaming, augmented\/virtual reality and immersive video streaming.<\/p>

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Amsterdam (Netherlands), nLighten already operates 30+ edge data centers across Europe and plans to reach 100 centers within the next three to four years.<\/p>

Its network is strategically located in urban environments, enabling data to be processed locally rather than in central facilities only, significantly reducing latency and improving digital performance.<\/p>
