At nLighten, we believe that technology and community go hand in hand. As we continue to grow our presence across the UK, our values remain rooted in supporting the cities and communities where we operate. That\u2019s why we\u2019re proud to announce our new charity partnership with Caring in Bristol, a local organisation dedicated to preventing homelessness and supporting vulnerable people across the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership marks the start of a year-long collaboration between nLighten and Caring in Bristol (from September 2025 to September 2026), launched through an initial contribution made possible through a joint effort between nLighten and one of our project contractors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership will directly support Caring in Bristol\u2019s vital community work, including providing warm shelter, meals, mentoring, and long-term support for those experiencing homelessness. This includes helping people access safe spaces, offering guidance and mentoring for young people, and connecting individuals to food clubs and community networks that promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion. The initial project our partnership will support focuses on the winter shelter program, helping people find safe, welcoming spaces during the colder months, with access to meals, clothing, and essential support services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative grew from our Bristol Data Center Phase 2 redevelopment project, where we chose to repurpose older equipment instead of scrapping it\u2014resulting in cost savings and an opportunity to give back. Rather than letting the story end with sustainability, we saw the chance to turn it into something even more meaningful: real community impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next year, our team will look for opportunities to volunteer, raise awareness, and amplify the charity\u2019s message through joint campaigns and events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
